Things To See & Do
in Edinburgh
the Grassmarket is full of great restaurants, offering pre-theatre deals and outdoor dining so you can sit and soak in the atmosphere. The University buildings are located around this area too.
Edinburgh is a great city for exploring on foot – stroll up to Bruntsfield to the lovely unique shops, cafes and bars there, or sunbathe and picnic in the Meadows.
Holyrood Palace is a 10 minute walk away, overlooked by Arthurs Seat – a hearty walk to the top will reward you with wonderful 360 degree views of the city rooftops and spires as well as the surrounding countryside.

the Sitting Room overlooks the Porteous Pend courtyard. It has a round dining table ideal for a relaxing dinner in the apartment.
there is a large comfortable Futon Company double sofabed (sleeping a further 2 if required) and 2 loungers to sit back after a long day exploring the city. Flatscreen Digital TV and DVD player which can play CD’s too.
a modern, fully-equipped Kitchen leads off the sitting room. There is a washing machine, fridge with ice box, electric oven and hob with extractor hood.

the Bedroom has a beautiful king-sized cream wrought iron bed made up in 500-thread crisp white linen. Hair dryer.
beside the bedroom but not quite ensuite (accessible should there be more than 2 staying), the Bathroom is modern and fresh.
